Cookies Policy

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — perform the same functions. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

Categories of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Required for the site to work. These keep you signed in, secure session state, store CSRF tokens, and remember the route you came from. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Functional Cookies

Remember choices you make so the platform behaves the way you expect — preferred language, the last dashboard view, recently shortlisted properties, and similar preferences.

Analytics & Performance

Help us understand which pages people visit, how long they stay, and where the experience breaks. We use this data in aggregate to improve the platform. The primary services we use are:

  • Vercel Analytics & Vercel Speed Insights — first-party traffic and performance measurement.
  • Google Tag Manager — tag and event orchestration layer through which our analytics and marketing pixels load.
  • Microsoft Clarity— behavioural analytics and session-replay service operated by Microsoft. Clarity captures how you interact with our website (mouse movements, scrolls, clicks, page visits, device metadata, IP address) and produces heatmaps and session recordings that help us diagnose usability problems. Clarity does not track you across other websites and does not identify you personally. Its cookies are set by clarity.ms and its sub-domains.

Marketing & Conversion Measurement

Used to measure the effectiveness of our paid acquisition campaigns and to show relevant ads on third-party platforms. The primary services we use are:

  • Meta Pixel — ad measurement and remarketing on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Google Ads / Google Marketing Platform — conversion tracking and remarketing cookies set by doubleclick.net and related Google domains.

Third-Party Services

Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we embed. Each of these is governed by the third party's own privacy notice.

  • Vercel — hosting and performance measurement.
  • Google — Google Tag Manager, mapping & place data, and (where loaded) Google fonts.
  • Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — Meta Pixel for ad measurement and remarketing.
  • Payment service providers — set cookies during the checkout flow to process transactions securely.
  • Identity verification partner — sets cookies during the Scout KYC flow to complete identity checks.

All-or-Nothing — No Cookie Banner, No Category Opt-Out

Use of Lokazen means acceptance of every cookie and tracker described above.

Cookies and similar technologies described in this policy are set as an integral part of the Lokazen service. Lokazen does not offer a cookie-preferences banner, a per-category opt-out toggle, or any other in-app consent-management mechanism. Acceptance is bundled and non-severable.

You retain your browser-level and OS-level controls: you may block or delete cookies from your browser settings, block third-party cookies, use a private / incognito window, or opt out of personalised advertising via operating-system or Digital Advertising Alliance controls. Doing so may cause sign-in, dashboards, KYC, the Scout flow, and other parts of the platform to stop working — that consequence is your responsibility, not something Lokazen accommodates.

If you object to any cookie or tracker described in this policy, you must not use the Lokazen platform.

Do Not Track

Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not supported by a uniform industry standard. Consistent with the all-or-nothing basis of the Lokazen service, Lokazen does not respond to Do Not Track signals and does not treat them as a granular opt-out from the trackers described above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new services we use or changes in regulation. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
